Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information LL Frame and Truss collects through this website and in our business, how we use it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you request a quote, send a message, open a trade account or deal with us as a customer or supplier, we may collect:

your name, company, phone number, email address and postal or site address;
job details, including site addresses, plans, engineering drawings and other files you send us, which may include information about property owners;
trade account details, such as business name, ABN, trade references and billing contacts;
records of our dealings with you, such as quotes, orders, deliveries, payments and correspondence.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don't send it to us.

Website visits, cookies and analytics

When you use this website, our hosting and security providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether forms are sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and doesn't give us your name or contact details.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The site still works without cookies.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

prepare quotes and respond to enquiries;
design, make and deliver your frames, trusses, floor systems and materials;
manage trade accounts, invoicing and payments;
contact you about your quote, order or delivery;
improve our website and services; and
meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them. Any marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the business, with:

the builders, designers, engineers and certifiers involved in your job;
our delivery drivers and transport providers;
service providers who support our website and systems, including our form and email providers (such as n8n and Microsoft 365), website hosting and security (Cloudflare), Google Analytics, and our accounting and job management software;
our accountants, insurers, lawyers and debt collectors where needed; and
government bodies where the law requires it.

Information stored overseas

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect personal information in a way that's consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Keeping it secure

We store personal information in secure systems with access limited to staff who need it. We keep job records for as long as we need them for the job, warranty and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing reception@llframeandtruss.com.au or calling 02 4324 7100. We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we'll tell you why.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first at reception@llframeandtruss.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
